You can find information on the Junior Duck Stamp (JDS) program, including rules, dates, Q&As, and related details from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service here.
The new 2012 Junior Duck Stamp Program "Educator Guide" and "Youth Guide" were released by the Fish and Wildlife Service this spring. In this way, the JDS Program has redesigned its arts and science curriculum, adjusting it to make it more relevant to today's teachers and students.
These two new guides provide a series of thought-provoking lesson plans, exercises, and activities focusing on scientific principles, nature, art, and fun. They meet National Science Education Content Standards, North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE) Guidelines for Learning, and National Visual Arts education standards for children in grades K-12.
This is all designed to spark youth interest in habitat conservation through science, art, math, and technology. You can find more details here.
